Organic vs. Non Organic Food


Whether you are on a budget and need to prioritize your organic purchases, or if you would simply like to know which type of produce has the highest pesticide residues—and which do not, the following guide from the Environmental Working Group will help you when shopping for organic fruits and vegetables.  Below is a list of this year’s culprits that made it onto the dirty dozen list.

So next time you are at the market be sure to buy organic if you can.  If you can’t always buy organic then remember to ALWAYS wash your fruits and vegetables prior to cooking/eating.
