STORY TELLERS

After an engaging first season, Didiayer geared up for a second round of the diverse lifestyle series. This time she took to the open road with a few traveling companions - her adventurous husband Christopher, and their two young daughters.

 

Leading the program with her informative and contagious attitude, Didiayer shares the diversity of American history, art, agriculture, and cuisine. From the arid climate of Utah to the Bluegrass State of Kentucky, she learns from locals about “their” way of life.

 

Along the way, she even meets with some familiar faces, for instance, world-renowned artist Wyland, country music star Phil Vassar, and Oprah Winfrey’s personal chef, Kenny Gilbert!

 

Christoper’s introduction into the series is lived out through his passion for the great outdoors. He can be seen experiencing adventures from white-water rafting in Utah to feeding alligators in the Everglades of Florida. 

 

No matter what the subject is or where the location might be, Season 2 is sure to keep viewers intrigued while drawing attention to the people of this great nation and the places they call home.

EPISODE 201 - Destination Florida

​

In this episode, Didiayer, and her family set out on a tour of the great state of Florida. First stop, a visit to the Florida keys where Didiayer meets up with world-famous marine wildlife artist Wyland at his home studio. Then, we visit the largest Everglades system in the world, where Didiayer meets up with Chad Crawford, aka, “Mr. Florida” to explore the beauty and diversity of these alligator-infested waters. Christopher “goes wild” with a quick visit to Wild Florida where he discovers a world of exotic local animals. We then visit Uncle Matt's Organic Fruit Juices farm to learn more about the iconic symbol of Florida - the mighty orange. The family then heads North to Amelia Island, where Didiayer takes a step back in history at Fort Clinch. We then meet up with one of Oprah Winfrey’s top chefs, Chef Kenny Gilbert from the Underground Kitchen.

EPISODE 202 - Kentucky - The Unbridled State

In this episode, we take a mid-winter trip to explore the unbridled spirit of Kentucky! We begin by learning about the history of horse racing and the art of horse breeding. Next, we step onto the bourbon trail to get a taste of a Kentucky classic. Then, we learn about how the history of a college is still reflected in today’s artwork. Finally, a local artisan shares his unique skill set.

EPISODE 203 - Berea: Where Art’s Alive

In this episode, we visit the unique town of Berea, Kentucky and begin by learning how a community’s moral compass turned a college into a beacon of opportunity. From there, we learn how the impact of sustainable, organic farming is serving this community. We also immerse ourselves in the local art scene to get a sincere look into the rich Appalachian culture.

EPISODE 204 - Nashville: Music City U.S.A.

In this episode, Didiayer and her family head to Music City USA, Nashville that is! Didiayer meets up with Major Megan Barry and explores the world-famous Country Music Hall of Fame and Studio B, while Christopher explores the nightlife and discovers an underground world of talent. We explore the world-famous Gaylord Opryland Resort where Christopher pulls up a seat will one of America’s most iconic radio announcers, Bill Cody. We then travel the bourbon trail where Christopher explores the Jack Daniels distillery and learns about the art of Bourbon making.

in this episode, we explore the southern charm of Biloxi, Mississippi. We begin by learning how this remarkable community maintains its heritage after a devastating natural disaster. Next, we’ll check out the modern side of this coastal town and get a taste of the local fare. Then we’re head’n to a restaurant to get a bit more than we ordered. And finally, a little exploration wraps up our trip on the bayou!

In this episode, we traverse through our home state of the beautiful, epic, gorgeous, California! And right off the bat, we interact with some incredible creatures of imagination! Christopher walks through an unsuspecting door that houses an impressive collection of automotive history. We tour one of our favorite campgrounds, and of course, we once again take the time to whip up a super healthy meal.

In this episode, we continue our California journey - into the north. Starting out in Santa Cruz, we have a little fun on the Beach Boardwalk and take a train ride through the redwoods! Next, we immerse ourselves in the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of San Francisco! And finally, we get down to the roots of organic food production! 

EPISODE 208 - Oregon: Where the Trail Leads

In this episode, Didiayer, and her family visit the great state of Oregon. The journey begins with the largest coastal community, Coos Bay, where we get the local scoop on art, cuisine, and historical landmarks. Christopher and Savanna take an epic ride along the largest coastal sand dunes in America, while Didiayer visits a local brewery! Then the family travels high into the Oregon mountains where Christopher learns the art of “jigging.”

EPISODE 209 - Utah: Life Elevated

In this episode, the Snyders travel to the diverse state of Utah, where Life is Elevated. Didiayer learns about local conversation and goes food foraging with Chef Viet Pham. Then, she uncovers the history of the surrounding rock formations in Moab and meets a Native American potter who gives her a lesson in this historic art form. And finally, Christopher takes a memorable journey down the Colorado River!
