When Women Inspire Women, Wonderful Things Happen!
There are some women in our lives and communities who inspire us simply by the way they live, lead, and pursue their dreams. For me, Krista Goodrich is one of those women.
I've admired Krista for years. Watching a woman in my own community build successful businesses, establish an impressive real estate investment portfolio, and continue to pursue new opportunities has been nothing short of inspiring. And I must say, I'm incredibly proud of her! But what I admire most about Krista isn't simply what she's accomplished. It's her willingness to share what she's learned along the way. She doesn't just build businesses and invest in real estate. She inspires other women to believe in themselves, expand their knowledge, take control of their financial futures, and recognize that they, too, are capable of extraordinary things.
This past summer, I had the pleasure of hearing Krista speak at our Women's Council of REALTORS® Women's Wellness Retreat. Her presentation was inspiring, insightful, and a wonderful reminder of the importance of women supporting women, not just in our personal lives and professional careers, but in our financial journeys as well.
So, when Krista recently reached out and invited me to join her in an exciting initiative called Women Investing in Real Estate, I was absolutely delighted! And I knew immediately that this was something I wanted to share with all of you.
We Help Others Build Wealth Through Real Estate. Why Not Ourselves?
As a Real Estate Advisor, I have the privilege of helping people buy and sell homes, navigate important financial decisions, and pursue their real estate goals.
But here's a question I believe more women, particularly those of us working in the real estate industry, should be asking ourselves: We spend our careers helping others purchase property. Are we taking the same time to explore how real estate might help us build our own financial futures?
Think about that for a moment.
We understand neighborhoods, property values, market conditions, negotiations, and the importance of making informed decisions. Yet many of us haven't taken the next step toward becoming real estate investors ourselves. Perhaps we've wondered whether we have enough money to begin. Perhaps the numbers seem overwhelming. Or perhaps we've simply been so busy building our careers, supporting our families, and helping others achieve their dreams that we haven't made the time to explore our own. And for women who aren't already working in real estate, the questions can feel even bigger.
Where do I begin? What makes a good investment? How do I evaluate the risks? Who can I trust to help me learn? That's why education, mentorship, and surrounding ourselves with knowledgeable, supportive women can make such a difference.

Krista is an accomplished entrepreneur, author, speaker, and real estate investor whose experience extends across residential properties, vacation rentals, commercial investments, and business ownership.
She has built an impressive portfolio while also creating businesses, managing properties, and helping other women become more knowledgeable and confident about their finances.
